Lakeland wants to help you do your very best on the placement test. Getting a better score will mean taking fewer college classes and graduating sooner, saving you time and money as you begin your college journey.

Writing and math placement tests are required for students who do not have college-ready ACT/SAT scores or official transcripts with qualifying college credit.

When taking advantage of the resources below, please keep in mind that Lakeland Community College currently utilizes the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER placement test.

Both self-paced online practice courses and on-campus personal help is available.

• College Board study app gives you free access take practice tests.
• Online Course and Practice Tests are available from Longsdale Publishing with a self-paced program containing instructions and practice tests.
  • To access practice tests from Longsdale Publishing, you must contact Lakeland's Learning Center to get our school number and access key.

• In-person placement test prep workshops are offered by the Lakeland Learning Center. Contact us for more information and to register for your free workshop.
