STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

As part of the division of Institutional Development and Effectiveness, the purpose of the Student Development Office is to not only protect the health, safety, welfare, and property of the college and its students, but to preserve the intellectual and educational atmosphere which prevails throughout the college community and to provide the opportunity for all members of the college community to attain their educational objectives. In addition to administering the Student Conduct Code and working with faculty to ensure academic integrity, the Student Development Office is responsible for commencement activities and oversees the general administration and staffing of several departments including Athletics, the Bookstore, Event Services & Campus Dining, Student Activities, Career Services, Women's Center, Men's Resource Center, the Veteran's Program and the Hispanic Program.
