Honors Partner Colleges

Lakeland Community College is proud to partner with other public and private Ohio four-year colleges and universities to form transfer agreements for our honors program graduates. Student who graduate from the Lakeland Honors Program and transfer to a partner school will have access to a variety of opportunities at the transfer institution. We currently hold transfer agreements with:

  • Bowling Green State University
  • Cleveland State University
  • Kent State University
  • Lake Erie College
  • Notre Dame College
  • The University of Akron
  • Youngstown State University

The benfits available to honors students vary by school, but may include the following:

  • Scholarships
  • Honors programming
  • Research opportunities
  • Career and leadership development experiences
  • Direct admission to graduate and professional programs
  • Study abroad
